Stahlhammer Klezmer Classic Trio offers a unique program with
klezmer (Jewish-East European folk music), tango and classical music.
The Trio received grants from the Ingmar Bergman Foundation 2011,
the Swedish Institute 2011 and the Swedish Arts Council 2010 and 2009




Semmy Stahlhammer


Semmy Stahlhammer is First Concertmaster of the Stockholm Royal Opera, teacher at the
Stockholm Royal Music College, and appears as solo artist on numerous CD recordings.
He has studied at Juilliard and is a graduate of Curtis Institute of Music and Kent State University.
His book Codename Barber was published 2007 in Swedish by
Albert Bonnier's Publishing House, and in English in 2010.



Isabel Blommé


Isabel Blommé is a cellist with extensive concert experience. She has been guest artist at
international music festivals, played on TV and radio, appears on CD recordings
and is a member of the renowned Indra String Quartet since 2003.



Miriam Oldenburg


Miriam Oldenburg, accordion and piano, is a frequent engaged musician and accompanist.
As a klezmer musician, she has performed with the majority of the most established Swedish
klezmer bands and Yiddish singers. During 2012, Miriam toured Europe with Cirque du Soleil's Corteo
